The process to get you started is fairly simple:
1. Download the app; the app can be viewed on your personal computer but you can only post videos from your mobile phone. So, either from an Android device or iPhone, log into the app store and download the app. When you are installing the app, allow Amazon to access everything on your device (this will come in handy later on).

2. Open the app and get started; when you open the app, you will see a Stream button (shows videos you aired), More button (shows options and preferences), but you need to click the ‘’+’’ button to get started. It is recommended to first try the practice mode, so you can get a hang of it. Once you feel confident enough to make a real video, add the product (or products) you want to promote and make a video. You do not need a camera to film the video, a phone camera will do fine and it is the easiest way. Do not forget to enter the title for your video, and make it appealing, catchy, to attract more people.

3. Boosting your video; getting a few thousand views is not hard but to get to a number as high as a hundred thousand, you should consider investing some money. It will work regardless of the money but a little investment can speed things up.

4. Cover image; the image is what people see when browsing through Amazon Live and it is how you draw them in. Upload an eye-pleasing and relevant picture that will pique people’s interest enough to click on the video.

5. Banner; to change the number of sales you generate, you need to show a banner. This will show at the bottom of your video and people can hide it, if not interested, but for those who are interested, it just takes one click to get them the discount or whatever you are offering them.

6. Posting the video; you have two options, either post in right away or schedule it for later (in the peak hours, when more people are likely to be online).

Once your video is uploaded, you can sit back and watch the sales roll in.
