5 ULTIMATE PS4 GAMES

The year is far from over but there has been a tidal wave of PS4 games in the market. Just when you think it doesn’t get better, another one hits the market and boom, we are all swept away in a frenzy. I am pretty sure that by the time you are done reading this article, something else would pop up on our radar and by the time 2018 500is over, it is very possible that this list might be extinct.

But until we get to the end of the year, I am going to make it difficult to make this list extinct by reeling in the 5 ultimate PS4 games using very high standards in the selection process. For any new game to get on this list by the end of 2018, it would have to shatter ceilings in every sense of the word. That said, here are my top 5 PS4 games in no particular order.

1. GOD OF WAR

Delve deep into the world of Olympian gods and become seduced by this game of survival. Following in the God of war series, we are pushed past the annihilation of the mountain of the gods and are now taken on a more personal journey of Kratos and his son, Artreus. Vivid, intense and finely crafted, you are taken on an adventurous ride in this. God of War is certainly one for the books!

2. NI NO KUNI 2: REVENANT KINGDOM

This sequel to the Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White witch is a great addition to the series. The combat style in this edition is a step up from the previous one. There are a lot of improvements in the game but the characters, engaging plot and charms retain top marks. The guys behind the creation of this did a good job improving while retaining originality. Nice one.

3. OWLBOY

This 2D action game gotten excellent ratings during its initial release and most gamers are of the opinion it d329elivered. Set in the mythical sky world post the complete destruction of all land below the sky, you are Otus and your mission is to save your beloved village from an attacking band of pirates. For those who do not know, I should mention here that Otus hybrid, part human, part owl. The plot is engaging, and the story is somewhat emotional. You are going to love going on this adventure.

4. YAKUZA 6; THE SONG OF LIFE

Followers of this Japanese cult series would love the visuals on this finale to the Kazuma Kiryu story. Featuring street fights and thug style antics, the Yakuza 6 that raw element of spontaneous street fights to your screen. In this edition we see Kazuma protecting his surrogate daughter and child from a mob style organization. The plot is riveting and engaging

5. SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS

Take down the Colossi with impressive graphics which feature as one of the major improvements on this game. The 15 year old sequel to the original is set to enter the main market this year so keep it on your to do list. No reviews yet but rumor has that this would be a game that could shatter ceilings in 2022.
