4 Tips for Making an App Dazzle your Target Audience with Gripping Features

Apps

The mobile app’s design must be in accordance with the end-user not required. Lots of companies make the mistake of creating a beautiful app but not thinking about what their current or prospective customers would want. And for big multinational businesses and Fortune 500 companies, this is more important to them than small businesses as their reputation is at stake.

For small businesses and startups, it’s critical as their very existence is on the line. Their mobile apps need to be on par with the best in the business as this is their only chance along with taut marketing to make a mark in the market.

Go through this blog as I discuss four important aspects that can make an app look the part.

1. Focus on the Details

First of all, think of what is the main ingredient and the most successful and popular apps that are in use today? Is it just their UI/UX, content, or design? Most of my readers would agree that initially, it is mostly the design that gets the attention of a person. The screenshot of your screens on Google Play and the App Store will play a vital role in compelling a person to install it. With most of the apps offering more or less the same features, the design and UI/UX needs to be impeccable for making things in your favor.

Never underestimate the value of the details and how they can affect the decision of the users. For example, if you are trying to get teens and young adults to buy your apparel, you need to offer detailed information about the product. And through your mobile, you can bring your apparel to life with exceptional details. 4K and 8K screens are now available and the video quality is also going high with each passing day, there is no way that you can come up with a low-resolution image and engage the user.

That is why the focus should be on making everything work in a grand fashion rather than going for the average solution.

2. Incorporate your Brand

This can be rightly termed as the logical extension of the previous point. It is obvious that if you want consistent branding, design is the key to everything. From your logo on your website right to the designing and execution of the app, your brand should be on top of your mind. After all, your app is also marketing your product and if you are not able to see what can be good for you, then you may not get to your goal of attracting your customers.

Brand recognition through a mobile app may not be the cup of tea for everyone, but over the last few years, companies have thought about it. Several app ideas are offering this so that everything can be taken care of. When companies merge or a company takes over the other, the processes should be on giving all the brands in the companies a distinct identity and no brand should be dwarfed by the others. In this way, every brand becomes instantly recognizable for offering the best solution for the company.

3. Design for the Platform

Nowadays, startups and newly established companies don’t know that there was a time when companies had to work only for a single phone. For example, I had to design just for the iPhone and work exclusively for it. This was one reason that not many designers were able to use their expertise for both Android and iOS. This made their skills very weak and that’s why when people start to look for an app development company with good developers, they can’t find many companies.

Nowadays you can easily find designers who can work on both Android and iOS, so it is wise that you select such designers. While some elements can be the same in all platforms like this splash screen. But other aspects can be handled differently. For example, if you want your menu to look distinct in Android, you can easily get this and also make it happen when you are looking for the app in iOS.

Another aspect can be designed for some particular phones like some high-end devices. You can’t find flagship phones with some great features related to hardware but if the software doesn’t provide support for it, it can offer the optimum experience for the users. Some apps are exclusively made for a device, example can be some apps that are exclusive to a phone like the Ferrari or Porsche versions of the phones.

4. Customize for the End-Users

It is not the job of a mobile developer to focus on all the aspects of user experience and design as there should be some input from the concerned company. As a company owner, your job is to facilitate the app developer to make a good design that can complement your product or service well. Your app should be customized to cater to the needs of your target audience rather than everyone. At best, your app will be downloaded a few hundred times in the initial few weeks, and that’s where you can make it count. If the users will find it sectional in terms of design, through word of mouth they can offer you free marketing that is precious for any company.

An app can work wonders if your app can be customized for the users. Through research, you can get to the goal of knowing everything about your target audience and then customize your app accordingly. In this fashion, your app can do the goods in the form of attracting your customers and making them use the app regularly. That is how you can get more customers through their recommendations and word of mouth.
