Asus Best Chromebooks

The best Chromebooks are not just laptops that run a few Google apps anymore. Chromebooks may now meet a wide range of computing needs, and a competent Chrome OS laptop or two-in-one can outperform a poor Windows or macOS laptop.

Google Pixelbook Go

Google-Pixelbook-Go

The Google Pixelbook Go is the greatest Chromebook we’ve tried (2019). Although it was initially released in 2019, it is still the greatest option for a high-end Chromebook, as other Chromebooks are more budget-friendly models with a cheap, plastic frame. This one feels very expensive and strong, plus it’s thin and lightweight, making it easy to carry anywhere. The display is crisp, bright enough to operate in well-lit environments, and enables touch input. The touchpad is huge and responsive, and the keyboard is roomy and tactile.

The main aspect of the Pixelbook Go is its excellent battery life, which comfortably outlasts many competing laptops. This means you can go to work or school an entire day without charging your gadget. It also keeps a charge brilliantly while not in use, so you can close the lid and put it in your luggage for a few days, then return and continue just where you left off.

It also has a wonderful ‘Hush’ keyboard that feels incredible to type on and lives up to its name with no key clatter, even for fast typists. The Pixelbook Fly is so amazing that we’ve started using it instead of more powerful Windows laptops when we need to work on the go.

Chromebook HP Elite Dragonfly.

The HP Elite Dragonfly Chromebook, at least in the high-end models, is not for everyone. While this is the most expensive Chromebook we’ve ever seen, it does have more reasonable entry settings, making it a more tempting student Chromebook rather than one for bosses and organization fleets.

It’s the most powerful Chromebook we’ve ever tested, and even the entry-level 12th-gen Core i3 version packs some genuinely impressive features that would make most Windows and macOS laptops blush.

Spin 713 Acer Chromebook

Spin-713-Acer-Chromebook

The Acer Chromebook Spin 713 has one of the best battery lives on the market, lasting nearly 12 hours when tested in our testing. We prefer computers that last at least 8 hours so that they may be used for an entire day at school or business, but the Spin 713 exceeded our expectations.

Thanks to its colorful and bright display, quick performance, and customizable form factor, it made the best Chromebooks list. And, get this, it won’t set you back more than $700.

Samsung Galaxy Chromebook

Samsung Galaxy Chromebook

Getting rid of the 4K display on the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook was perhaps the finest thing Samsung could have done to make this Chromebook a success. It’s now much more inexpensive, yet it still has a fantastic QLED display and a better battery life – 7:50 vs. 5:55 in the previous generation. It will also sound terrific, and its Core i3 configuration will provide plenty of speed for Chrome OS.

We weren’t as pleased with the keyboard’s vertical travel, which is a little shallow. This results in a minor learning curve that you will adapt to over time.

Duet 5 Chromebook from Lenovo

Duet-5-Chromebook-from-Lenovo

The Lenovo Chromebook Duet 5 is our affordable option. It’s a Chrome OS tablet with a 13-inch screen, a keyboard that can be taken off, and a kickstand. This design lets you remove the keyboard while viewing content, which is helpful in tight spaces like an airplane. It also makes it easier to hold the device as a tablet and use it. You can put the keyboard back on when you need to type something, but it feels tight and could be better for writing long essays.

The thing that distinguishes this Chromebook is its OLED display. It’s sharp, brilliant, and colorful and displays deep, inky blacks like all OLEDs. The speakers are pretty loud but lack a bottom and sound slightly artificial.

Detachable Asus Chromebook CM3.

Detachable Asus Chromebook CM3

The Asus Chromebook Detachable CM3 will mislead others into thinking you’re carrying a tweed-bound journal when, in fact, you’re holding a fantastic 2-in-1 laptop. As a bonus, the Detachable CM3 includes a built-in stylus, so you can do some journaling with high-tech handwriting.
